2018 Fall Season

Thank you for your interest in having your child play softball.  We are really looking forward to this Spring Season!  All players, managers, coaches and team parent volunteers need to register online.  If you are returning from the 2018 Spring Ball Season, all you have to do is sign into your account and register.  Walk-up registration dates are still in the works but please be sure to look out for emails or Facebook posts with the dates, times and location. 

All adult team volunteers (managers, coaches, team parents) will also need to download and print out a copy of the background consent form, fill it out and turn it in with a copy of your driver’s license on or before August 7th as we plan on selecting managers ASAP. 2015_Consent_Form.pdfManager Application.pdf

Refund Policy.  If cancellation is before evaluations - full refund less $10 processing fee. 50% Refund before uniform distribution and NO refunds after uniform distribution. Exceptions only permitted with MMGS Board approval.

Snack Bar $35 Deposit Check MMGS is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a youth sports experience.  Programs and equipment are mostly paid for from the money made in our league Snack Bar as well as through generous tax-deductible donations.  We ask that all families please fulfill the snack bar commitment so that MMGS may continue to provide your player with future softball experiences.   Please write a $35 deposit check to MMGS that will be cashed if you elect not to fulfill your snack bar commitment.  Snack Bar deposit checks can be mailed to MMGS, PO Box 261857, San Diego, CA 92196 or brought to evaluations. Players will not be able to receive their uniform until their snack bar deposit check is received. 

  Important Items:

  • Registration Fee - $150.000 for 8U, 10U 12U & 14U
  • Registration after 6/22/2018 will be $150 for divisions 8u-14u (subject to space availability)
  • T-Ball is $45.00
  • Player Evaluations are TBD
  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate must be submitted for age verification purposes through ASA.  Copies of the player's birth certificate can emailed to or submitted at our walk-up registration. Copies of birth certificates are sent directly to ASA and not kept in the league’s possession.
  • Registration fee includes jersey, socks & basic photo package
  • Fall Season games will begin Sunday, September 9, 2018 (WEATHER PERMITTING) and will run approximately through Sunday, October 28, 2018
  • 8U-14U divisions will play double headers primarily on Sundays with possible Saturday game in lieu of Sunday. Times of games are still TBD. 
  • T-ball games will only be on Sunday at Hourglass Park. Times TBD
  • Home field – Our home field is Hourglass Park and field. Utilizing fields 1-5.
  • T-ball will last approximately 45 minutes (each player normally receives 3 at bats)
  • Each child should have a pair of cleats, glove, helmet with a facemask
  • Fielders face masks are required for all players in 8U. We highly recommend facemasks for divisions’ 10U-14U for extra added field protection.  
  • Practice days are any time between Monday-Friday 4pm-6pm. Practice dates and times are determined by the team Manager.
